In the Name of God amen I Thomas Moore of Abb Kettleby in the County of Leicester yeoman do this thirtieth day of July 1748 Make this my last Will and Testament in manner following
First I commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator and my body I commit to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor herein after named and as for my temporal Estate which it hath pleased God to bestow upon me I give and dispose of the Same as followeth (to Wit)
Whereas my late father John Moore deceased did in and by his last Will and Testament [Moore John 1748 of Ab Kettleby Will] dated the 16th January 1743 give and Devise Certain Messuages Cottages Lands tenements and heredittaments Scituate Standing lying and being in Abb Kettleby aforesaid or with the fields liberties and territories of the same unto me any my brother in law William Pick and to our heirs In trust to be sold and with the money arising to pay all his Just Debts and Several pecuniary Legacies therein Menconed And Did thereby direct that the overplus money arising by Such Sale Should be paid to me
Now I do hereby give and bequeath all Such Said overplus money and all my right Interest and title thereto or to any part thereof Unto my brother in law William Pick for his own use and benefit
Also I give Unto my brother William Moore And Unto my Sister Jane One Shilling apiece
Also I give Unto my Niece [no name given] the daughter of my late brother Nicholas Moore One Shilling
Also all the rest and residue of my Goods Cattle Chattles and personal Estate of what kind Soever my debts legacies and funeral Expenses being first paid and discharged I give and bequeath the Same Unto my Said brother in law William Pick whom I appoint full and Sole executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me Made declaring this to be my last Will and Testament
