George Morris 1767 Will, Inventory and Bond

In the Name of God Amen the [water damage] day of February 1767 I George Morris of Hickling farmer being very sick and weak in body but of perfect Mind and Memory Thanks be given unto God therefore calling unto Mind and Mortality of my Body and knowing that it is Appointed for all Men once to die do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say
Principally and first I give and recommend my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God that gave it me and my Body … to the Earth to be Buried in Decent Christian Burial at the Direction of my Executor nothing doubting but at the General Resurrection I shall receive the same again by the Mighty Power of God and as touching Such Worldly Estate Wherewith it has pleased God to bless me I give demise and dispose of the same in following manner and form
I make my Wife Sarah Morris [two or three words water damage] my brother William Morris one shilling also I give to my sister Mary Cook [two or three words water damage] I give to my sister Elisabeth one shilling
And I do hereby utterly disalow revoke & [two or three words water damage] and every other former Testaments Wills Legacies and Requests and Executors by [one or two words water damage] before named Willed bequeathed ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament
