John Sisson of Long Clawson 1736 Will

In the Name of God Amen I John Sisson of Long Clawson in the County of Leicester husbandman being in health of body and of sound mind memory and understanding praised be God for the same do make and Ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following
First I resign my Soul to God who gave it me and my Body I comitt to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor hereinafter named and as for such Temporal Estate as it hath pleased God to bestow upon me I give devise and bequeath the same unto my Brother Joseph Sisson the sume of fifty pounds
Also I give and bequeath unto my Brother Henry Sisson the sume of Thirty pounds
Also I give and bequeath unto my Sister Sarah Sisson the sume of Ten pounds
Also I give and bequeath unto William and Thomas Sisson Sons of my Brother William Sisson the sume of five pounds a piece
Also I give and devise unto my Brother James Sisson all my lands Tenements and hereditaments whatsoever with their appurtenances Scitutate standing lying and being in Long Clawson aforesaid together with all my right Interest and property therein unto my Brother James Sisson his heirs and assignes for ever
Also all the rest of my Goods Chattles Cattle and personal Estate whatsoever my debts legacies and funeral expences being first thereout paid and discharged I give and bequeath unto my Brother James Sisson whom I make full and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills and Testaments by me made declareing this to be my last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof I the said John Sisson the Testator have hereunto sett my hand and seal this sixth day of December in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and thirty five
