Thomas Skellington of Long Clawson 1807 Will

In the name of God Amen This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Skellington of Claxton otherwise Long Clawson in the County of Leicester Blacksmith
First I will and direct that all my just Debts be well and truly paid by my Executrix herein after named
And I give and bequeath to my Cousin John Skellington of Claxton otherwise Long Clawson aforesaid Blacksmith all my Tools and Implements used in my Trade of a Blacksmith whatsoever and my stock of unwrought Iron and all my Iron Goods and Stock of Coals which may be at my Workshop or in my Coal House adjoining thereto at my decease to be delivered to him immediately after my decease
Also I give and bequeath to my late Housekeeper Mary Cowe the sum of twelve pounds
Also I give and bequeath to Mary Chamberlain the Daughter of the late William Glenn of Hose the sum of five pounds
Also I give and bequeath to Elizabeth Glenn the Daughter of the said William Glenn the sum of three pounds
Also I give and bequeath to Joseph and William Glenn the sons and Catherine Glenn Daughter of the said William Glenn the sum of one guinea apiece all which said sums or Legacies in Money shall be paid within six calendar Months next after my decease
And all the Residue and Remainder of my Goods Chattels Cattle ready Money securities for Money and all my personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever (Subject to the payment of all my just Debts my Funeral and Testamentary expenses) I give and bequeath to my Niece Ann Lovett whom I do hereby make constitute and appoint whole and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made hereby ratifying and declaring this and none other to be my last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof I the said Thomas Skellington the Testator have hereunto set my hand and Seal this fourteenth day of July in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seven

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Thomas Skellington as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as Witnesses to the due execution thereof

Let probat be granted to Ann Lovett, the sole Executor of the within written will, she being sworn to the due execution thereof, & made Oath, that the whole of the personal Estate of The Testator at time of his death (July 26 1807) did not amount to the sum of One hundred pounds
