In the name of god Amen The 11 Day of August Anno Dom 1713 I Richard Stokes of Hose in the County of Lecester being sick in bodey but of Good and perfect memory thanks be to Almighty God and Calling to Remembrance the uncertaine Estate of this transitory Life and that all flesh must yield unto Death when it shall please god to Call Do make and Declare this my Last will and Testament in manner and form following
First I Commit my body to the Earth to be decently buried at the Discretion of my Executor hereafter named
Imprimis I Give and bequeath unto Sarah Stokes by wife my Executor all my guds & Chattill which I now posses and making all former wills void and of none efect witness my hand
