This is the last Will and Testament of me George Stubbs of Long Clawson in the county of Leicester Grocer
I direct that my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses be paid by my Executors hereinafter named
I give devise and bequeath to my dear Wife Eliza Stubbs All my Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever And also all my Real Estate (Subject to the Mortgage thereon) situate at Long Clawson aforesaid for her own absolute use and benefit and I hereby appoint my said Wife and my two brothers Thomas and Walter Stubbs to be Trustees and Executors of this my Will
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this Seventeenth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty

Signed by the said George Stubbs as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses

Proved at Leicester on the Twenty first day of July 1880 by the Oaths of Eliza Stubbs Widow the Relict and Thomas Stubbs and Walter Stubbs, the Brothers, the Executors to whom Administration was granted
The Testator George Stubbs was late of Long Clawson in the County of Leicester Grocer and died on the Fourth day of February 1880 at Long Clawson aforesaid
