In the name of God Amen the first day of Aprill 1694 according to the Computation of the Church of England I William Wiseman of Stathorne in the County of Leicester yeoman being of perfect memory and remembrance praised be god doe make and ordaine this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following viz
First I bequeath my soule into the hands of almighty God my maker hopeing that through the Meritorious Death and passion of Jesus Christ my only Saviour and redeemer to receve free pardon and forgiveness of all my sins and as for my body to bee buried in the Churchyard of Stathorne
Item I give unto my Son Robert Wiseman Three score pounds of good and Lawfull money of England and one oxgange of Land in the Liberties and feilds of Orson in the County of Nottingham to him and his heires for ever
Item all the rest of my Lands houses and Tennements I give unto my son William Wiseman and his heires for ever
Item all the rest of my goodes and Chattel or Catel I give unto Katherine my wife and to my son William Wiseman paying my debts and legacies whome I make ioynt Executors of this my Last Will and testament revokeing all other Wills and testaments
In wittnes whereof I hereunto sett my hande and seale the day and yeare first above written
