This is the last Will and Testament of me Richard Hardy of Scalford in the County of Leicester Cordwainer
I revoke all Testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me
I bequeath to my daughter Matilda Hardy a legacy of Fifty pounds payable at the expiration of six calendar months from my death
I devise all my real estate and I bequeath all my personal estate not otherwise disposed of by this my Will or any Codicil hereto unto and to the use of Henry Marriott and George Bunney Whittle both of Scalford aforesaid Farmers their heirs executors administrators and assigns respectively according to the nature of the said premises Upon trust to sell my Real estate in such manner and at such times and subject to such conditions as the Trustees or Trustee for the time being of this my Will may think fit and to call in and convert into money my residuary personal estate And upon further trust with and out of the moneys to be produced by the sale calling in and conversion of my said real and personal estate to pay my funeral and testamentary expenses and debts and the legacy hereinbefore bequeathed to my said daughter Matilda Hardy and to stand possessed of the reside of the said moneys
In trust for all my children (including the said Matilda Hardy and including any who may die or may have died in my lifetime leaving issue living at my decease) who shall have attained or shall attain the age of twenty one years the share of any and every daughter of mine in the trust fund to be paid to her for her sole and separate use free from the debts control and engagements of her husband (if any)
I appoint the said Henry Marriott and George Bunney Whittle the Executors of this my Will and I devise unto and to the use of them the said Henry Marriott and George Bunney Whittle their heirs and assigns all estates vested in me as Trustee or Mortgagee
In witness whereof I the said Richard Hardy have hereunto set my hand this twenty second day of November One thousand eight hundred and eighty one

Signed and acknowledged by the said Richard Hardy the Testator as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses

I Richard Hardy of Scalford in the County of Leicester Cordwainer declare this to be a Codicil to my last Will which is dated the twenty second day of November one thousand eight hundred and eighty one
I bequeath to my daughter Matilda Hardy all my household furniture and effects in and about my house at Scalford aforesaid and also all the full benefit of all monies to be paid or payable under a Policy of Insurance effected upon my life in the Offices of the Prudential Life Assurance Society
In all other respects I confirm my said Will
In witness whereof I the said Richard Hardy have hereunto set my hand this third day of March One thousand eight hundred and ninety six
