This is the last Will and Testament of me John Hourd of Scalford in the County of Leicester Innkeeper
I give and bequeath to my late Wife’s Brother Thomas Morrell Fifty Pounds duty free and to be paid at the expiration of six Months after my death out of my real and personal Estate
And subject to the above Legacy my Debts Funeral and Testamentary Expences I give devise and bequeath all my real and personal Estate of which I shall die possessed unto my nephew John Hourd his heirs an assigns for ever
And I appoint my said Nephew John Hourd sole Executor of this my last Will
Witness my hand this 26th day of September 1859

Signed published and declared by the said John Hourd the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the Presence of us who at his Request in his Presence and in the Presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses
