In the name of God amen I Job Lester of Scalford Husbandman being sick & weak but of sound mind & memory praised be God do make this my last will & Testament in manner & form following
First I commend my soul into the hands of my Saviour Jesus Xt hoping thro his alone merits to be partaker of eternal happiness & my body I commit to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executrix herein after mention’d & for my goods & what I am possess’d of I dispose as follows
Imprimis I give & bequeath to my son Job twenty shillings
Item I give to my son William twenty shillings
Item I give to my son John twenty shillings
Item I give to my Daughter Sarah Fox twenty shillings
Item I give to my Daughter Anne Doubleday twenty shillings
Item I give & bequeath to my Wife Hannah Lester all my goods chattel cattle & personal Estate whom I make Executrix of this my last Will hereby revoking all former Wills
In witness whereof I have here set my hand this twenty fifth day of December 1719
