The 15th day of October Anno Dom 1636
In the name of God Amen I Nathaniell Needham of Saxilbie in the countie of Leicester yeoman being sick in bodie but whole in mind of good and perfect remembrance thankes be to god for the same doe make and ordeine this my last will and testament in manner & forme following
First I bequeauth my soule to Almightie god my maker to Jesus Christ my redeemer and to the holie ghost my comforter trusting to be saved by the meritts death and passion of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and my bodie to the earth from whence it came to be interred in the parish Church of Saxilbie
Item I give to the Church to buy a flagon for the communion vs

Item I give my sonn Clement Needham my young saddle nagg
Item I give to my daughter Francis Needham xx li of lawfull money when she comes to the age of one and twentie yeares or the day of her maryiage which shall first happen
Item I give to Elizabeth Needham my second daughter xx li of like money when she shall come to the age of one and twentie or the day of her mariage which shall first happen
Item I give to Katherine my third daughter xx li when she shall come to the age of one and twentie or the day of marriag which shall first happen
Item I give Susanna my yongest daughter xx li when she shall come to the age of one and twentie or the day of her marriage which shall first happen
And my will is that yf any of my sayd daughters shall depart this life before they come to the age of one and twentie, that then theire portion or portions shall remaine to be devided to those survivinge

The reste of my goods undisposed my debtes being payed and funerall charges discharded & doe give to Katherine Needham my wife whom I doe make my sole executrix of this my last will and testament
