In the Name of Gd Amen I Jn Wilford of Scalford in the County of Leicester Husbandman being of sound mind & perfect memory (praised be Gd) do make this my last Will & Testament in Manner following
First I commend my Soul into the hands of my Saviour Jesus Xt hoping thro his alone Merits to be partaker of eternal happiness & my body I commit to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor hereinafter mention’d
& as for my Goods & Possessions I dispose of as follows
Imp I give & bequeath to my son Edward Wilford one shilling
Item I give to my son Jn Wilford forty shillings
Item I give & bequeath to my Daughter Mary Wilford twenty pounds
Item I give to my Daughter Frances Wilford twenty pounds
Item I give to my son Thomas Wilford twenty pounds to be receiv’d when he is one & twenty years old
Item all the rest of my Goods Chattle Cattel & Personal Estate, my Debts Legacies & Funeral Expences being first discharg’d, I give & bequeath to my Son William Wilford whom I make Executor of this my last Will hereby revoking all former Wills by me made
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this twenty fifth day of March 1720
