This is the last Will and Testament of me Sarah Beeson of Long Clawson in the County of Leicester Widow

I give and devise all that my Messuage or Tenement with the appurtenances situate at Sewstern in the County of Leicester and all other my real Estate unto my Niece Elizabeth Pogson and to her heirs and assigns for ever

I give to my Daughter in law Mrs Smith of Sewstern my Iron bed stead Feather bed and Mattress two pair of Blankets and White countypain

I give to her eldest Daughter Mary Ann my Watch

I give to Matilda another Daughter a Set of Mahogany Drawers

To another Daughter Elizabeth a set of China (white and gold which is at Mrs Pogson’s) and four Silver Salt Spoons

I give my writing Desk to Rebecca Ellen another Daughter

And I give my Work Box to another Daughter Susan

I direct that I shall be buried at Great Ponton by the side of my husband, and I wish the Hearse to be procured from the Angel at Grantham and I wish Mr & Mrs Pogson to attend my funeral

Subject to the Payment of my Debts funeral and testamentary expences I Give and bequeath all my Money Securities for Money money in the Grantham Savings Bank Household furniture and all other my personal Estate and Effects unto my said Niece Elizabeth Pogson and I appoint her sole Executrix of this my last Will

Witness my hand this 22^nd day of May 1854

Signed published and declared by the said Sarah Beeson the Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses

On the 15^th day of August 1861 the Will of Sarah Beeson formerly of Long Clawson in the County of Leicester and late of Sewstern in the same County Widow was proved by the Oath of Elizabeth Pogson Wife of John Pogson Niece of the deceased the sole Executrix named in the Will she having been first Sworn duly to administer

Sworn under £100 and that the Testatrix died on the 8^th day of June 1861
