This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Greasley of Old Dalby otherwise Dalby on the Woulds in the County of Leicester Farmer and Shopkeeper
I direct all my just debts funeral and testamentary expences to be fully paid
I give and bequeath all my Personal Estate & Effects of every description of which I shall die possessed unto my affectionate wife Elizabeth Greasley for her to have the free use and enjoyment thereof for the term of her natural life and from and after her decease then I give and bequeath all my said personal estate and effects of every description unto and between my son and daughter John Greasley and Miriam Greasley their executors & admors share and share alike
And I do appoint my said son and daughter joint Executor and Executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made
In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal this 22nd day of February 1840

Signed sealed published and declared as and for the last will and testament of the said Thomas Greasley who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other set our hands as witnesses to the due execution thereof
