Thomas Daft of Hickling 1823 Will, Inventory, Bond and Probate

Hickling nineteenth of September 1817
I Thomas Daft of Hickling in the county of Nottingham being desirous of settling by worldly affairs make this my Will and Testament
First I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid and discharged
Secondly I give to my youngest son Thomas the house and Land which I bought of Isaac Hallam
I Give to my Wife for the term of her life the house in which I live and the field Close and the home Close and Bride Gate Close and at her decease my will is that my elder son George shall possess it and that it shall be his and his heirs for ever
Thirdly I give to each of my Daughters Salome and Vashti the sum of three hundred pounds to be charged upon the house in which I live and upon the home Close the Field Close and the Bride Gate Close
Fourthly my Will is that the whole of my personal property be equally divided amongst my wife and children
I hereby revoke all former Wills made by me and declare this my last will and Testament and request of you to witness my signing

A true and perfect Schedule or Inventory of all and singular the Goods Rights Credits and Chattels of Thomas Daft late of Hickling in the County of Nottingham and Diocese of York Farmer and Grazier deceased taken and made by me Bridget Daft of Hickling aforesaid Widow the Relict One of the Residuary Legatees and Administratrix with the Will annexed of the said Deceased the seventh day of June in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and Twenty three (viz)
