In The name of god Amen I John Harston of Hose in The Countie of Leicester labourer, being sicke in bodie but of perfect remembrance, (praysed be god for it) do make this my last will in this maner following
First I Comend my Soule to Almightie god my maker And I do give unto Elisabeth Joane and Margret Harston my Three daughters The sume of Thirteens shillings Apeece To be payed unto them at the age of Eightene yeares
The rest of my goods unbequeathed I give unot Elisabeth Harston my wife whome I do make the ful executrix of this my last Will in witnesse whereof I have hereunto set my hand the Eight daye of Januarie in the yeare of our lord 1625
