In the Name of God Amen I Edward Hoe of Long Claxton Als Long Clawson in the County of Leicester yeoman being Weak of Body but of Sound minde & Memory Do Make & or Dain this my Last will & Testament as follows
First I commit my Soul into the Hand of God who Gave it & My Body to the Earth to be Decently Intered at the Discression of my Executor hereafter Mentioned & as for Temporal Estate I dispose of it as follows
Imprimis I give to my Beloved Wife [no name given] the Sume of five Shillings
Itam I give to my Daughter Sarah Wheatley the Sum of one pounds to be paid one year after my Discease
Itam I give to my Daughter Anna Hoe the Sum of Twenty pounds to be paid by my Executor when Shee cometh to the Age of three & Twenty years
Itam I give to my Daughter Mary Hoe the Sum of Twenty pounds when Shee Cometh to the Age of Three and Twenty years
Itam I give to My Son Thomas Hoe My House & Cottage belonging to it Situate & being in the East End Field of Long Claxton Als Long Clawson Containing by Estimation about three pounds a year be it more or Less to him and his Heirs or Assigns for Ever
Itam I give to my Son Thos Hoe the Sum of Fourty pounds to be paid him when he cometh to the Age of four and Twenty years
Itam my Will and Minde is that that Hundred pounds that is in my Brother Stubbe’s Hand which he is in Trust for Shall be equaly Divided amongst my Chilldren after my Wives Discease
And Lastly I give to My Son Edward Hoe all the Rest & Residue of My Estate both Real & personal he Defraying my Debts Legasies & my Funeral Expence and do make my Son Edward as aforesd Sole Executor of this my Last will and Testament Revoking all Formour Willis & Testaments made by me and I do also Given them to my Son Edward his Heirs and Assigns for ever
