In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Hoe of Long Clawson in the County of Leicester Cloth weaver Finding My Self Declining and knowing that is appoynted for all Men once to Dye, being in perfect Sence but in Diffrant health do Make & ordain this My Last Will & Testament in Manner and form following
First & principall I Commit My Soul into the Hand of God who Gave it hopeing through the Alone Merits of Jesus Christ to obtain A pardon for all my Sins And My Body to the Earth And as for my Temporal things I dispose of them in manner and form following
Imprimis I Give and Demise to my Grand Daughter Elizabeth Hoe Daughter to My Eldest Son Thomas Hoe Deceased the Sum of One Shilling
Itam I Give to My Son John Hoe the Sum of five pounds of Good & Lawfull Money of Great Brittan
Itam I Give to My Son William Hoe the Sum of five pounds of Good & Lawfull money of Great Britton
Itam I Give to My Son Robert Hoe the Sum of five pounds of Good & Lawfull money of Great Brittan
Itam I Give to my Daughter Elizabeth Beakley Wife of Thomas Beakley of Bingham the Sum of five pounds of Good & Lawfull Money of Great Brittan
Itam I Give to My Daughter Sarah Hoe the Sum of Ten Pounds of Good & Lawfull money of Great Britton
Itam I Give to My Daughter Sarah Hoe the one Half of my Household Goods And Shee Shall pertake only with My Son Richard of the Household furniture
Itam I Give and Demise to My Son Richard Hoe My Three Quarters of an Oxegang of Land now in my possession To Him his Heirs or Assigns for Ever And further My Will is that My Legatees Shall Each of them have there portions one Whole Year & A day after My Discease
And Lastly I Make and Ordain My Son Richard Hoe Sole Executor of this my Last Will & Testament Revokeing All Former Wills and Testaments And Make and ordain My Son Richard Hoe above Mentioned Sole Executor of All My Goods Cattle & Chattles
In Wittness Hereof I have hereto Set My Hand And Seal the fifth Day of February In the Eighteenth Year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the 2d of Great Britton France & Ireland King Defender of the faith & in the Year of Our Lord 1744:5
