In the Name of God Amen I John Marriot of the Parish of Hickling the County of Nottingham Husbandman being in Sound health of mind and perfect memory but in great weakness of body do by this my last Will and Testament bestow my worldly goods and Chattels in manner following
I give and bequeath all My worldly Goods to my five children John Mary Elizabeth Anne & Sarah to be employ’d towards breeding them up and whatsoever shall remain over and above to be give to Each of them at the Discretion of John Pollard Senr and John Pollard Junr of the aforesd Town who I constitute and appoint joynt Executors my last Will and Testament and I do hereby revoke all other wills whatsoever by me formerly made
In witness hereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this Second day of September 1720.
