In the Name of God Amen the Six and twentieth Day of February in the year of our Lord 1745/6 I Henry Austin of Grimston in the County of Leicester Farmer being Weak in Body but of perfect mind and Memory thanks be given to God do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following
First I Bequeath my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God my maker, hoping to receive free pardon of all my Sins, and as for my Body to be Buried at the Discretion of my Executor and Executrix hereafter Nominated
Imprimis I give to my Son Willm Austin one Shilling
Item I Give to my Son Gregory Austin one Shilling
Item I Give to my Son George Austin one Shilling
Item I Give to my Son Valentine Austin one Shilling
Item I Give to my Son John Austin one Shilling
All the Rest of my Goods and Chattels whatsoever I Give to my Son Thomas Austin and my Wife Dorothy Austin and do joyn them my Sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament upon Condition that they shall pay all my Debts and Legacies and Burial Charges
And my will further is that my Executor and Executrix shall give to my Son Valentine a Sum of Money to Set him up of his Blacksmith Trade and my Will is that my Executors Shall give a Larger Sum of Money to the Rest of my Sons aforenamed as they Shall think most proper
And I do hereby Revoke all other wills and Testaments that hath been by me made
