This is the last Will and Testament of me Simon Bagworth of Goadby Marwood in the County of Leicester Cordwainer
I Give and devise unto my Wife Ann Bagworth All that Cottage or Tenement at Wikeham in the said County of Leicester in the occupation of Thomas Morris To hold to her the said Ann Bagworth to receive and take the rents and profits thereof during her life and from and after her decease I Give the same to my Grandson Thomas Cook of Melton Mowbray To hold to him his Heirs and Assigns for ever
I Give unto my said Wife Ann Bagworth for and during her life (subject to my debts and funeral Expences) All and singular my Household Goods and personal Estate whatsoever for her use And after her decease I Give two thirds of my said personal Estate and Effects unto my Daughter Ann Cook her Executors or Administrators And the other third part thereof to my Son John Bagworth his executors or administrators
And I appoint my said wife Ann Bagworth sole Executrix of this my last [“will” missing] and testament
In Witness whereof I the said Simon Bagworth the Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal this third day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten

After payment of my debts and funeral Expences I will that my Wife shall have power over my personal Effects to dispose thereof as she pleases without being controlled by my son and daughter but what shall remain at her death I wish to be divided as mentioned in my Will
And I declare this to be a Codicil to my Will

Let a probat be granted to Ann Bagworth of Goadby Marwood widow sole Executrix named in the will of Simon Bagworth who died at Goadby Marwood on the 20th day of Dec: 1819 She the said Ann Bagworth being duly sworn as well to the faithful execution of the Will as that the Testator’s Goods, Chattles, & Credits as they were at his death, without deducting any Debts owing by him therefrom did not amount in value to the sum of one hundred pounds
