In the Name of god Amen the eight day of November in the yeare of our lord Christ one thousand six hundred sixtie & five I Nathaniell Boddman of Abkettellby in the Countie of Leicester Beaker beainge weake & sicke of bodie butt of perfect minde & meamorie preased bee god doe make & ordaine this my last wil & testement in manour & forme follinge revokinge all other willes formerly made
First I give & bequeath my soule into the handes of Almightie god that gave it to mee trusting to bee seaved by the alone merrittes of Jesus Christ my onely seaviour & redeemer
Next I give my Bodie to bee buried in the Church yard of Abkettellby at the descretion of my executors heare After neamed hopinge for a Joyfull resurrection at the last day
And for my worldly goodes I give & bequeath in mannour & forme followinge
Imprimus I give to my sonne John Boddman the some of Thirtie Powndes of good & lawfull money of England
Itt I give to my daughter Mary Boddman the some of twentie Powndes of good & lawfull money of England & I alsoe give to my daughter Meary Boddman one feather bed with furneture theire unto belonging
Itt I give to my sonne James Boddman the some of twentie Powndes of goods & lawfull money of England
Itt I give to my sonne Thomas Boddman the some of fortie shillinges
Itt I give to my daughter Elizabeth Boddman the some of fortie shillinges
And my will is further that five powndes shall be reased out of my esteate to put my sonnes John & James to treades
And my will further is that the house and land shall be sould at or befoore the yeare 1673 to discharge all theese my Childrens portions
& my will further is that my wife shall in Joy my house & lands untill my sonne John Boddman Come to age
& my will further is that if Aney of my Children die before the Come to age then theire portions shall goe amongst the rest of my Children
And I doe Appoint my uncle Garner to be over seer of this my will & I doe … him feafee in trust for my Children
All the rest of my goodes Cattales & Chattels in Abkettellby or else wheare unbequeathed I give unto my wife and I doe ordaine hir & my sonne John Boddman full & sole executors of this my last will & testement seeinge that my debts & legaces being payd & funerall Charges discharged
In witnesse wheare of I have heare unto put hand & seale the eight day of November in the yeare of our lord Christ Accordinge to the Computacon of the Church of England one thousand six hundred sixtie & five
