The last Will and Testament of me Thomas Chamberlin of Goadby Marwood in the County of Leicester made this ninth day of December in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and ninety nine
Imprimis I give and bequeath to my two daughters Mary Worsdale and Elizabeth Chamberlain the Sum of ten pounds apiece
All the Rest of my Property I give and bequeath to my wife Mary Chamberlin for and during the term of her natural life and from and after her decease I give and bequeath the same in the following manner (Vizt)
Such part of my Household Furniture as came to me with my said wife Mary Chamberlin to be equally divided amongst her three Sons Richard Carter Thomas Carter and William Carter and the remaining part thereof to be equally divided amongst my five Children John Chamberlin Thomas Chamberlin Joseph Chamberlin Mary Worsdale and Elizabeth Chamberlin
All the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Personal Estate and Effects of what kind soever the same may be I give and bequeath to the said John Chamberlin Thomas Chamberlin Joseph Chamberlin Mary Worsdale Elizabeth Chamberlin Richard Carter Thomas Carter and William Carter to be equally divided amongst them share and share alike
Lastly I do hereby appoint my said Wife Mary Chamberlin sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament she paying all my just Debts Legacies and Funeral Expences

This will was proved at London the fourth day of April in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred before the Right Honourable Sir William Wynne Knight Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oath of Mary Chamberlin Widow the Relict of the deceased and the Sole Executrix named in the said will to whom Administration of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased was granted having been first sworn by Commission duly to Administer
