In the name of god Amen I Thomas Clyffe of Hose in the Countye of Leister Taylor doe make this my will in this manner following
First I Comend my Soule to god my maker And my bodye to the buryed in the Churchyard of Hoose Aforesayd
Imprimis I do give unto Nicolas Cliffe my best doublet And breaches And Jirkine my best neather stocks and shoowes
Item I doe give unto Ane Clyffe one black heafer one Ewe And lambe and one waistcoat And …
Item I doe give unto George Spencer my second suite of Apparrell
Item doe give unto William Handy my barley [?] land lying on sixteene Piggs [?] furlong
Item I doe give unto my children fourpence apeece
Item I do give unto the poore of Hoose Three shillings fourpence
The rest of my goods (my depts discharged) I doe yield unto Anne Clyffe my loving Wife whome I make the full executrix of this my last Will And hereunto have set my hand the Thyrd of August Ano dni 1622
