In the Name of God Amen I Elizabeth Daft of Scalford in the County Leicester Spinster being sick in body but of Sound mind & perfect memory praised be God do make this my last Will & Testament in manner following
First I commend my soul into the hands of Jesus Xst my Saviour & Redeemer hoping thro his alone merits to be made partaker of eternal happiness & my body I commit to the ground to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executors & for my goods & personal estate wch I am possess’d of I dispose of as follows
Imprimis I give & bequeath to my Brother and Sister Jenkinson one shilling apiece
Item I give to Thomas Jenkinson my Brother’s son five pounds
Item I give to Anne Stimson my niece all my clothes & apparel
Item all the rest of my goods chattles cattel & personal estate whatsoever I give to my Nephew Edward Gray & my Niece Anne Stimson to be equally divided amongst them whom I make Executors of this my last Will & Testament
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twelfth day of July 1712
