In the name of the Everlasting & Eternal God Amen The Fifth of November 1720 I Thomas Day being Sick, but of perfect command of my reason do make this to be last will & Testament in form and Manner viz
Impr first I do desire my body to be committed to the Earth in a Decent and Christian Manner as I have recommended my Soul to the Protection of the Eternal Son of God Jesus Christ
I do give and bequeath and freely bestow all manner of goods, Chattles, Utinsels, and all things that are in my possession and shall be in my possession and do of right belong to me, or shall belong to me, and in justice and Equity are in my Disposal I do freely give and bequeath unto Elinor Day my wife and do make the said Elinor Day my Sole Executor & heir and do Will all my Right & Title of all my Lands & effects to her & to her heirs for ever
