This is the last Will and Testament of me Elizabeth Dixon of Grimstone in the County of Leicester Spinster
After paying all my just debts Funeral and Testamentary expenses I give devise and bequeath unto my Friend George Tyres of Grimstone aforesaid Grazier All the live and dead Stock implements of husbandry household furniture and other effects which may belong to me at my decease except such as is hereinafter mentioned which I give to my Sister Benton of Asfordby in the said County of Leicester Widow namely A Clock a two armed Chair one feather bed and all my wearing apparel
I give devise and bequeath unto Langford Wilson of Aston Flamville in the said County of Leicester Gentleman the sum of Twenty pounds and the rest and residue of my ready money whether out at interest or in my possession at my decease I give devise and bequeath unto my said Sister Mary Benton to be paid with six months after my decease
And I appoint the said George Tyres and Langford Wilson executors of this my Will as Witness my hand this eleventh day of Jun 1855

Signed and acknowledged by the said Elizabeth Dixon the Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us, being present at the same time, who at her request, in her presence, and in the presence of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses
