Elizabeth Dumelow of Eastwell 1782 Will

In the name of God Amen I Elizabeth Dumelow heretofore of Weston upon Trent in the County of Derby but now of Eastwell in the County of Leicester Widow being at present in good health of Body and of sound and disposing memory and understanding (for which I bless God) Do this Twenty Ninth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty two make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say)
I Give and bequeath to my son John Dumelow one shilling
I Give and bequeath to my son Thomas Dumelow one shillling
I Give and bequeath to my Granddaughter Elizabeth Dumelow a pewter dish
And as to for and concerning all and every my ready Money and Securities for Money and all other my Goods Chattles and personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever I Give and Bequeath the same and every part and parcel thereof unto my Daughter Ann the Wife of Martin Turner of Eastwell aforesaid Grazier to and for her sole use and benefit And I do hereby make Constitute and appoint my said Daughter Ann Turner full and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made

Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Elizabeth Dumelow as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have set our Names as Witnesses thereto in the presence and at the request of the said Testatrix

On the fifth day of March 1782 Ann Turner the sole Executrix named in the within written Will was sworn to the due Execution thereof & at the same time made Oath that all the Testator’s personal Estate at the time of his Death was not worth one hundred pounds
