In the name of god Amen I Edwarde Faukes thelder of Claxton in the Countie of Leceister Labourer, beinge weake of bodye but of good and perfect remembrance (praysed bee god) this seaventh day of September 1615 doe make and ordayne this my last will & testamente in manner Followeinge
Imprimis I give my soule to god that gave it, and my bodye to bee buryed in the Church yarde of Claxton aforesaid
Itm I give unto my daughter Margarett Atkinson my wyves Goune
Itm I give John Atkinson the sonne of my sonne in Lawe John Atkinson xiid
Itm I give unto my natural sonne Edwarde Faukes my table in the house, with the forme, Tressells, & settle I also give unto him xxs which is in the hands of my Cosen Edward Phinies
Itm I give unto him 1 bedstead, 1 mattress, 1 Boulster, 1 pillowe, 1 Coverleade, one Blankett
Itm I give unto my [probably “daughter” missing] Elizabeth Smaley 1 wast Coat, one niether Skirts, that my wife ware dayley, and xiid in money
Itm I give unto Dorothy the daughter of John Atkinson xiid
Itm I give unto my sonne in Lawe John Atkinson all my Hovell Tymber
They rest of all my goodes and Chattells unbeequeaved I give and bequeave unto my daughter Agnes Faulkes, whom I make & ordayne the full & onely executrixe of this my last will & testament, to see the same performed, and my bodie brought honestly to the ground
Lastley I make and ordayne my Brother Heaghe Faukes and my Cosen Edward Moore Overseers of this my Last will and testament
