This is the last Will and Testament of me John Foister of Scalford in the County of Leicester Grazier
I give to each of my four Daughters Maria Dorothy Penelope and Elizabeth a Feather Bed and Furniture to make choice according to the Seniority of their Ages
All the rest of my Goods Estate and Effects I give to my Brother in Law Thomas Leeson and my Brother Charles Foister their Executors and Administrators In trust (subject to my debts) to apply the same in the maintenance of my Daughter Maria and of such of my Children as shall not be of the Age of twenty one until my youngest surviving Child shall attain the Age of Twenty one years and then turn all my Effects into money and apply two eleventh parts of the clear residue in the support and Maintenance of my Daughter Maria in such manner as my trustees shall think best for her and pay one ninth of the remaining eleventh parts unto each of my following Children vizt William Dorothy Solomon John Penelope Francis Elizabeth Thomas and Levi
I exclude my eldest Daughter because she is provided for by the Will of my late Aunt Fan
And I appoint the said Thomas Leeson and Charles Foister joint Executors in trust of this my last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this eighteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eight

Let a Probat be made to Charles Foister one of the Executors within named with power of making the like Grant to Thomas Leeson the other Exor when he shall apply for the same
He being duly sworn as well to the faithful Execution of the will as that the testator’s Goods Chattels and Credits do not amount in value to the Sum of Two Hundred Pounds
