In the Name of God Amen I Joseph Fox of Claxton Als Long Clawson in the County of Leicester Yeoman Do this Twenty fourth Day of October one Thousand Seven Hundred and fifty Seven Make and ordain this my Last will and Testament in manner following
First I commit my Soule into the Hand of God and my Body to the Earth & as for Temporal things I dispose of them in Manner following
Imprimis I give and Devise to My Nephew Wm Kaile My House in which I Live and all the Land thereto Belonging Dureing the Time of the Lease thereof and all my Substance I have and Do make the Said William Kaile My full Executor of all that I have
Itam my Will and mind is that my Nephew William Kaile Shall pay my Debts and Defray my Funerall Charges and Lastly I Make Void all former Wills and Testaments by me Made and Make and ordain this my Last will & Testament and the above Wm Kaile Sole Executor of All My Goods Cattle and Chattles, Real & personall whatsoever in Wittness whereof I the said Joseph Fox the Testator have hereunto set my Hand & Seal the Day and year first above written
