To all Christian people to whom these presents Shall Come I John Glen of Eaton in the County of Leicester farmer, Send Greeting in our Lord God Everlasting, Know Ye That I the Said John Glen for the Love and affection that I the sd John Glen do bear Unto Demetrius Glen of Eaton in the County aforesd my Second Son and at this present in the habitation aforesd with me, Know ye therefore that I the Said John Glen being Weak in Body but of Sound and perfect Memory have Given Granted & Confirmed and by this My Present Writing Do fully freely & absolutely Give Grant and Confirm Unto the sd Demetrius Glen, All and Singular my Goods Cattell & Chattels with my Tennant Right of all that I the sd John Glen Doth Rent, Hold, or Injoy of His Grace the Duke of Rutland Lying within the Libertys of Eaton aforesd Which I Now Stand possessed of Together with all my personal Estate whatsoever Utensels of household Stuff of what Nature, Kind or property the Same may be that Can be found with in Realm of Great Brittain, To have hold Levy Use Dispose of Take and Enjoy all my Goods aforesd with the whole premises Unto the said Demetrius Glen his Executors administrators and assigns from hence forth for Ever with out any Manner of Challenge Claim or Demand whatsoever of or by any person or persons whatsoever and in Consideration of which said deed To be Confirmed Unto the sd Demetrius Glen and his assigns The sd Demetrius Glen and his assigns or some of Them shall Suffer the sd John Glen quietly to Dwell and Inhabit in the present habitation and shall provide all necessaryes for the Support of Nature both in Sickness & in health dureing his natural Life & shall Cause him to be decently Buryed at his own Charge according to his present Cercumstance when deceased & in Consideration of Sufficient Maintenance to be provided for the above John Glen & Care at his Death according to the true Intent & Meaning hereof to be Done & performed by the sd Demetrius Glen Then this deed to stand & Abide Good in Law Otherwise to be void

Sealed & Delivered and Quiet possession & seisen given and Delivered By one pewter Dish parcel of the sd premsises According to the intent & Effect of this present writing in the presence of us
