In the name of god Amen This 11th daye of December in the ninth yeare of our Soveraigne Lord Charles by the grace of god of Englande, Scotland, France, and Irelande, Kinge defendor of the faith &c 1633 I Richarde Goodwynne of Claxton als Longe Clauston, in the Countie of Leceister, Tayler beinge sicke of bodie but of good and perfect memorye (praysed be god) Doe make & ordayne this my laste will & testament, in manner followeinge
Inprimis, I give my soule to god that gave it and my bodie to be buried in the Curch [sic] yard of Claxton aforesaid
Itim I give & bequeathe unto my sonne John Foartie shillinges
Itim I give unto my eldest daughter, Frances Goodwynne Twentie shillings
Itim I give unto my daughter Elizabeth Goodwynne, twentie shillings
Itim I give unto my daughter Marye Goodwinne twentie shillinges
And my will is that everye one of theis my foresaied Legacies be payed, as everye of them: my foresayed Children, shall or doe come to the age of one & twentie yeares
The rest of all my goods, unbequeaved I give & bequeave unto my loveinge wife Agnis Goodwynne, whom I make & ordayne sole & full executrixe of this my last will & testament, to see my will performed, my debts discharged, And my bodye brought reverently to the ground
Lastely I make & ordayne Thomas Wright of Claxton aforesaied Clarke, and my brother in Lawe, Henrye Stookes, overseers of this my last will & testament
