Edmund Gregory of Saxelby 1683 Will and Inventory

In the name of god Amen I Edmund Gregory of Saxilby in the County of Leicester yeoman being of sound memory (Blessed be god) though weake in body, do ordain this my last will & Testament in manner & form following
My Soule I commend into the hands of god who gave it & my body to the earth from whence it was taken to be decently buried according to the discretion of my Executors
And for my worldly goods I thus dispose of them
Inprim I give & bequeath unto John Goodicary & William Goodicary, the sonnes of John Goodicary of Holliwell in the County of Leicester the summe of Twenty shillings A peice to be paid unto them severally when they shall accomplish the severall ages of fifteen yeares
Item I hereby give & bequeath unto Mary & Frances (two of the daughters of the abovesaid John Goodcary) the summe of Five pounds a peice to be paid unto them when they shall accomplish the severall ages of Fifteen yeares
Item I also hereby give & bequeath unto Elizabeth & Anne, two other daughters of the abovesaid John Goodicary, the summe of three pounds a peice, to be paid unto them when they shall accomplish the severall ages of fifteen yeares
Item I hereby give & bequeath unto Edmund Gregory the sonne of John Gregory of Saxilby in the County of Leicester the summe of Forty shillings, to be paid unto him when he shall accomplish the age of fifteen yeares & I also give & bequeath unto John, another of the sonnes of the aforesaid John Gregory, the summe of Twenty shillings, to be paid unto him when he shall accomplish the age of fifteen yeares
Item I hereby give & bequeath all my household goods, be it brasse, pewter, bedding, or of what kinde soever, unto Elizabeth & Mary, Frances & Anne, the daughters of John Goodicary aforesaid, to be divided amongst them according to the discretion of John Goodicary & Mary, the Father & mother at the said chilldren
Lastly I do hereby ordain & appoint John Goodicary of Holliwell & John Gregory of Saxilby joynt Executors of this my last will & Testament & do hereby give & bequeath unto the said John Goodicary & John Gregory Twelve pence a peice for their paines
