This is the last Will and Testament of me William Hall of Harby in the County of Leicester Gentleman
I give devise and bequeath all my real and personal estates whatsoever unto John Joseph Basilico of Langar in the County of Nottingham Gentleman whom I hereby appoint my Executor Upon trust to raise and pay thereout all my just debts and funeral and testamentary expences And also the sum of forty pounds and the legacy duty thereon which sum of forty pounds (free of duty) I give to my servant Harriett Pepper to be paid in six calendar months next after my decease in case she shall be residing with me at the time of me death (but not otherwise)
I give to my housekeeper Mary Freck (in case she shall be living with me at the time of my death) the sum of five pounds a year during her life free of legacy duty which sum I direct shall be paid by equal half yearly payments the first of which shall be made at the end of six calendar months from the day of my decease
And after payment of the said sum of forty pounds and subject thereto and to the aforesaid annuity or yearly sum of five pounds I give all my said estate and property unto Henry Bonser of Harby aforesaid Miller and to his heirs executors and administrators absolutely
And I hereby give to my said trustee and executor the benefit of the usual clause and power contained in Wills for the protection and indemnity of trustees
As witness my hand this fourth day of July one thousand eight hundred and forty six
