John Hand of Harby 1695 Will

May the 15 1695 in the name of god Amen I John Hand of Hardby in the County of Leicester Husbandman being weake in body but in parfect memory do ordaine and make this my last will and Testament in manner and form following viz
That is first and principelly I commend my soull into the Hands of Almighty god hopeing through the Meritts death and passion of my savior Jesus Christ to have free pardon of all my sins and to Inherit ever Lasting life
My body I committ to the earth to be desently buried according to the descretion of my Executrix here after mentioned
And All the rest of my temporall estate as it haith pleased god Almighty to Indue me withal I give and despose hereof as followeth
Imprimis first I will that my debts and funerall chardgis shall be paid and dischardged
It I give unto my son William Hand the sum of five pounds to be paid when he shall accomplish the yeares of one and Twenty yeares
It I give unto my dawghter Elisabeth Hand the sum of five pounds to be paid when she shall accomplish the yeares of one and Twenty yeares
It I give unto my son Thomas Hand the sum of five pounds to be paid when he shall accomplish the yeares of one and Twenty years
It I give unto my niece Mary Hand the daughter of Richard Hand deceased the sum of five shillings
It I give unto my son Francis Hand the sum of five pounds to be paid when he shall accomplish the yeares of one and Twenty yeares
It I give unto my Dawghter Mary Hand the sum of five pounds to be paid when shee shall accomplish the yeares of one And Twenty yeares
It I give unto my dawghter Jane Hand the sum of five pounds to be paid when shee shall accomplish the yeares of one and Twenty yeares
All the rest and Residue of my personall esstate goods and Chattels whatsoever I Have I give unto my Deare wife Jane Hand and my son John Hand my eldist son whom I doe Joyn then togather full sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament giveing and paying as is above mentioned
And I Desire that my body may be buried in the parish church or Churchyard of Hardby
And I doe Hereby revoke Disanull make void all former wills and Testament by me Heretofore made
In Wittness whereof I the said John Hand do set my Hand and seale the 14 day of May 1695
