In the Name of God amen I Richard Hawley of the Parish of Harby in the County of Leicester Grocer do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say
First and principally I commend my Soul to the Almighty who gave it and my body to the dust from whence it was taken to be decently interred at the charge and discretion of my Executor herein after named
And for my worldly possessions of which I may die possest I dispose of the same as follows
First I give and devise my Messuage or Tenement with all and every the appurtenances thereunto belonging scituate and being in the Parish of Harby aforesaid and now in the tenure or occupation of John King unto my Sister Elizabeth Harby widow for and during the term of her natural Life and from and after the decease of my said Sister, I give and devise the same unto my Nephew John Harby to continue to him his Heirs and assigns for Ever
Also I give to my Nephew Thomas Hand the sum of Ten Shillings
Also I give to my Niece Elizabeth Hand one Shilling
Also I give to my Nephews John and Joseph Harby my stock of Bees to be divided equally between them
Also I give my said Nephew Joseph Harby my Cupboard fellow to my Sisters also my Cupboard in the house also my Jack and my Will is that the press in the parlour do stand where it now is and be Considered as an eer Loom to the House
All the Rest and residue of my personal Estate whatsoever I give to my Nephew John Harby whom I hereby nominate and appoint full and Sole Executor of this my Will hereby revoking all former Wills at any time heretofore by me made Confirming this only as and for my Last Will and Testament
In Wittness whereof I the said Testator have hereunto Set my Hand and Seal this First day of July one thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy four

Let Probat be granted to John Harby the Sole Executor within named, be being duly sworn to the Execution thereof & he having also made Oath that the whole of the personal Estate of the Deceased did not amount to one hundred pounds
