In the name of god amen the xiiith daye of Maye in the yeare of oure lord 1572 I Robert Henfrey of Harby in the Countie of Leicester beinge of whole minde and perfect remembrance do constitute and make my last will and Testament in maner and forme folowinge
First I bequeth my soul to allmighte god and my body to be buried within the Churche yard of Harby trusting in the great Mercye of god that my sinnes are thereby … through the merritts and passion of oure saviour Jesus Christ and I trust to come to his everlasting kingdome there … att … continuallye to prayse him
… concerning my temporall goods which god hath lent me my mind is by the grace of god to dispose them as followeth
First I bequeth to Elizabeth Henfrey my eldest daughter on cowe and a calfe or a cow with calfe ii yewes and ii lambes on pan of iii galans on towel and a flaxen sheet
Item I bequeth to Margaret Hefrey my second daughter on cowe and a calfe or a cowe with calfe iii yewes and iii lames ii pewter dishes a socer on candilsticke a towel and a flaxen sheete
Itm I bequeth to Agnes Henfrey my daughter a cowe and a calfe or a cowe with calfe ii yewes and ii lames a towel and a flaxen sheete
Item I bequeth to Isabell Henfrey my daughter a cowe and a calfe or a cowe with calfe ii yewes and ii lames on brasse pan a towel and a flaxen sheete
Item I bequeth to Alice Henfrey my daughter a cowe and a calfe or a cowe with calfe ii yewes and ii lames on brasse pan a towel and a flaxen sheete
Moreover I will that my children shall receive ther portions at xviith years of age and if god doe call anye of my children to his mercye before she come to the age of xviith years that hir or there partes shall remene to the longest livers of them
The rest of my goods unbequeathed my debts being payd and my funerall discharged I give to Isabell Henfrey my wife whom I make my full exector of this my last will also I will my brother Nicolas Henfrey and Richard Dubbillday be the supervisers of this my last will and testiment and there charged … be my exicutor ..when the … … uppon anye … of this my will
