This is the Last Will and Testament of me John Hopkinson of Hickling in the County of Nottingham Yeoman
I give and devise all my Real Estate to my Wife Ann Hopkinson for her life she paying the Interest of the debts charged thereon
I also give her the rest of my Household Goods and Effects for her life
My eldest son Thomas and my Grand daughters Mary Ann and Millicent Abigail (the daughters of my late son Joseph) being well provided for I give to each of them five pounds to be paid within six months after the death of the survivor of myself and my Wife
I give to my son John Hopkinson his Heirs and Assigns the House and Orchard which were my late Brothers and the Moore Furlong Close which I purchased of Thomas Shuttlewood all in Hickling aforesaid clear from all debts charges and incumbrances whatsoever
I give to my daughters Hannah Shaw and Abigail Hives one hundred Pounds apiece to my daughter Elizabeth Collishaw Eighty Pounds and to her daughter Mary Collishaw Twenty Pounds these Legacies to be paid within six months of the death of the survivor of myself and my Wife
Expressly charged with the payment of all my debts Legacies and funeral and testamentary Expenses and also the debts and Legacies of my late Brother Thomas Hopkinson I give and devise all the rest of my real Estate consisting of the Townsend Close which was my fathers the House and other premises which I purchased of William Mann and the Brook and Wadland Closes which were my late Brothers all in Hickling aforesaid unto my son William Hopkinson his Heirs and Assigns subject to his Mothers Life Estate
I also give to him my said son William all my personal Estate subject to his Mothers Life Interest in the Goods
And I appoint my said son William Hopkinson Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament and I revoke all former Wills by me made
In Witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal the thirteenth day of October in the year of my Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty six

I do hereby certify that on the twenty seventh day of July on the year our Lord 1833 William Hopkinson of Hickling in the County of Nottingham Farmer the son the sole Executor of the last will and Testament of John Hopkinson late of Hickling aforesaid in the Diocese of York yeoman deceased was sworn well and truly to execute and perform the same And that the whole of the Goods Chattels and credits of the above deceased within the Diocese of York do not amount in value to the sum of One hundred pounds
