In the name of god amen I Alice Lee of Claxton als Clauston in the Countyie of Leceister widdowe beinge sicke of bodie but of good & perfect memorie praysed be god doe make & ordayne this my last will & testament this 30th day of Januarye Ano regis mono 1633 tin maner followinge
Im primis I give my soule to god that gave it & my bodie to bee buried in the church yard of Claxton aforesaide
Itim I give unto my syster Ane Lealand ten shillings
Itim I give to my syster Olyve Marriatt tenne shillings
Itim I give unto my husbands sonns Children & to my Cosen Edward Lee vid a peece
Itim to my brother John Marriat his daughters & first to his eldest daughter Elizabeth my best hat, & greatest pann
Itim I give to his second daughter … Marriatt my second pan & the Candlesticke of pueter uppon the Cubberd head
Itim to his daughter Joane Marriatt a pan the third in worth, the best platter I have
Itim I give to my brother Richard Marriatt xiid
Itim I give unto my Cosen Elizabeth Smithe of Coulstone Bassett my green savegard, a blewe … a … … & to her husband a … band

Lastly I make & ordayne Thomas Wright Clarke and Edward Hicklinge husbandman of Claxton overseers of this my last will & testament giving to either of them twelve pence for theire paynes
