In the name of god Amen the fyrst day of December in the yeare of our lord god 1582 I Joan Lees of Claxton in the Countey of Leicester widow do make and ordayn this my last will And Testament in maner and forme following

Fyrst I Bequeth my soule unto allmyghtye god my maker and Redemer and my Bodye to the Buried in the Churchyard of Claxton Aforesayd

Itim I geve unto the Parish Church of Claxton iiiid

Itim I geve unto Every one of my Godchyldren iiiid

Itim I geve all the Resydew of goods unbequethed unto my Cosyn Margaret Samsome

Itim I doe ordayn and make Rychard Hickling my full and Sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament And I doe geve unto him for his payns iis vid
