This is the last Will and Testament of me Robert Mackley of Scalford in the County of Leicester Grazier
In the first Place I will that all my just and lawful Debts and Funeral Expences be paid and discharged by my Executor herein after mentioned
I give and bequeath unto my three Friends William Wilford Son of Thomas Wilford of Scalford aforesaid, and John Lowe of Waltham in the County of Leicester aforesaid and the Reverend Thomas Hoe of Dalby on the Woulds in the County of Leicester aforesaid the Sum of Two Hundred Pounds In Trust nevertheless to be by them put out to Interest upon good and eligible Security or Securities for the Use and Uses of my dear Grand-children, Forty Pounds of the said sum of Two Hundred Pounds to be paid to each and every one of them my said Grand-children by the said William Wilford and John Lowe and the Reverend Thomas Hoe their Heirs Executors and Administrators or some one of them as and when they my said Grand-Children severally shall have attained the full age of twenty one years respectively
And the Interest with Compound Interest which shall have accumulated from the said Sum of Two Hundred Pounds or from any residuary Part thereof to be paid by the said William Wilford and John Lowe and the Reverend Thomas Hoe their Heirs Executors and Administrators or some one of them amongst all my Grand-Children severally and respectively share and share alike equally who may be alive when my youngest Grand-Child then living shall have attained the full Age of twenty one years and shall previously have received the aforesaid Legacy of Forty Pounds
I also give and bequeath unto my dear and beloved Wife Sarah Mackley the Sum of Ten Pounds Annuity to be paid to her my said Wife by my Executor herein after named half yearly, that is to say Five Pounds to be paid at Lady Day and Five Pounds at Michaelmas yearly during the term of her natural Life, if she my said Wife does not choose to live in the Family with my Executor herein after named, the first Payment of the said Annuity to be made in the Day of Payment that shall first happen after my Decease
But if she my said Wife shall choose to live in the Family with my Executor herein after named, and he my said Executor shall find her my said Wife all things meet and competent and sufficient, then he my said Executor may not be compelled to pay to her my said Wife the said Sum of Ten Pounds Annuity
And my Will further is that if my Dear Daughter Mary Whittle shall die before her present Husband and her present Husband shall marry another Wife, then I give and bequeath unto my three Friends William Wilford and John Lowe and the Reverend Thomas Hoe aforesaid the further Sum of one Hundred Pounds In Trust nevertheless to be paid by my said Executor herein after named within three months next after such marriage to be put out to Interest as aforesaid for the use and benefit of my said Grand-Children or the Survivors of them to be divided with the compound and accumulated Interest among them or the Survivors of them equally share and share alike when the youngest of them my said Grand-Children then alive shall have attained the full age of twenty one Years
All the other Residue and Remainder of my Goods Monies Chattles and Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath unto my Son in Law Thomas Whittle of Scalford in the County of Leicester aforesaid whom I also hereby do nominate and appoint full whole and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revokeing and annulling all former Wills and Testaments by me at any time heretofore made And this only consisting of two sheets of Paper to be my last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this twenty third Day of June in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety Five

Let probate be made to Thomas Whittle the sole Executor within named
He being duly sworn as well to the faithful Execution of the will as that the Testator’s Goods Chattels and Credits do not amount in value to the sum of Three hundred pounds
