This is the last Will and Testament of me Edward Marriott of Old Dalby in the County of Leicester Grazier as follows
First I direct that all my just debts Funeral and Testamentary expences to be fully paid and I give and bequeath all my personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever to my dear Wife Ann Marriott and I further appoint her my whole and sole Executrix
In Witness whereof I have hereto set my hand this Twenty sixth day of October One thousand eight hundred and sixty seven

In the Goods of Edward Marriott deceased
I William Hawley Tuckwood of Old Dalby in the County of Leicester make oath that I am one of the subscribing Witnesses to the last Will and Testament of Edward Marriott late of Old Dalby aforesaid Grazier deceased the said Will being now hereunto annexed bearing date the twenty sixth day of October one thousand eight hundred and sixty seven and that the said Testator executed the said Will on the day of the date thereof by signing his name at the foot or end thereof as the same now appears thereon in the presence of me and of Robert Coalbank the other subscribed Witness thereto both of us being present at the same time and we thereupon attested and subscribed the said Will in the presence of the said Testator

Proved at Leicester the Sixteenth day of March 1870 by the Oath of Ann Marriott Widow the Relict of the deceased the sole Executrix to whom Administration was granted
The Testator Edward Marriott was late of Old Dalby in the County of Leicester Grazier and died on the ninth day of February 1869 at Old Dalby aforesaid
