The nuncupative will of Thomas Marritt senior Late of Claxton in County Leicester yeoman departed Anno 1654, attested by us whose hands are subscribed
Imprimis hee did declare in these or the like words followeing that his will and desire was that Robert Marritt his Sonne should have ten pounds and so much money as to sett him forth an apprentice and his daughters Anne And Sarah should have his halfe oxgange of Land in Hose field, provided alwaies that Thomas his Sonne might have the said Land payeing to each of his said daughters Anne and Sarah twenty pounds apeece
It hee gave his household utensils to Anne his wife
Lastly hee gave all the rest of his goods cattells and chattells whatsoever unbequeathed to Anne his wife and Thomas his Sonne as his executors to pay all legacies debts and funerall chardges &c
