I Richard Mason of Stathern in the County of Leicester Farmer, being mindful of my mortality do make and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following
I Give and bequeath unto Sarah Mason my beloved Wife, All the residue of my personal estate and all my property whatsoever and wheresoever, and what nature kind or quality soever the same may be, After payment of my debts and Funeral expences I do give and bequeath unto Sarah Mason my beloved Wife to and for her own use and benefit absolutely
And I do also hereby constitute and appoint my said Wife Sarah Mason Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament
And Also after her decease I give and bequeath unto my Son Jervis Mason residing at Nottingham the sum of one Shilling
Also after her decease I give and bequeath unto my three Sons and my three Daughters Namely John Mason, William Mason, Richard Mason and Ann Mason residing at Stathern, Mary Watkin Wife of Thomas Watkin of Waltham Baker and Sarah Cobley Wife of John Cobley of Stathern Farmer All the rest and residue of my personal estate whatsoever and of what nature kind and quality soever the same may be, after payment of debts and Funeral expences to be valued by two respectable persons And then to be equally divided amongst my three Sons and three Daughters above named
In witness where of I have set my hand and Seal the thirteenth day of September in the year of Our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty Eight
