In the name of god Amen I John More of Holwell in the Countie of Leicester yeoman beinge sicke in bodie, but in good & perfect remembrance praysed be God therefore, doe make & ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner & forme followinge
First and above all thinges I bequeath my soule into the handes of Almighty God my Maker & of Jesus Christ my Redeemer, & of the holie Ghost my Comforter, and my bodie to bee buried in the Church or Churchyarde of Abkettlebie
Item I give to the poore of Abkettlebie & Holwell fower shillinges
Item I give to Thomas Smith my sonne twentie shillinges
Item I give to William Frend my … seven poundes of good & lawfull money to be payed a yeare & a halfe after my decease
Item I give to Elizabeth More my daughter twentie poundes to be payde unto her when shee comes to the age of two & twentie yeares complete
Item I give to Edwarde More my sonne Twelve pounds
Ite I give to Hanrie More my sonne xii l to be payd unto them when they come to the age of one & twentie yeares
Item I give to Samuell More my sonne fourtie shillinges to bepade a yeare after my decease & a yeawe sheepe
All the rest of my goods unbequeathed my debtes paid and funerall expences discharged I give & bequeath to Alice More my wife whome I make the sole Executrixe of this my last Will & Testament
