In the name of God amen January the 9th Anno Dom 1690 I William Morris of Grimston in the Parish of Rothley in the County of Leic Laborer being sicke and weakly of bodie but of Good & perfect memorie praysed be the Lord for the same doe ordaine & make this my last Will & Testament in manner & forme following
First I bequeath my Soule to Allmighty God my Creator hopeinge & verely assuring myself through God his Mercies & Christ his merits to be pertaker of life everlastinge & my bodie I bequeath to the earth from whence it was taken to be buried in Christian buriall at the discretion of my Executrix in the Churchyard of Grimston as aforesaid and for my worldly Goods which hath pleased the Lord to leand me I doe dispose of them in manner & forme following
Itam I give to my loveing daughter Elizebath Brickard one Shilling
Itam I give to my loving daughter Ann Morris one shilling
Lastly I give to my loving Sonne William Morris all my Goods whome I make Executri hee paying my debts and funerall Charges and my Legacies as I have bequeathed them and it is my Will that he take care of my daughter Mary Morris that shee wanteth not aney necessary things dureing her life & thus I make my last Will & Testament
