Charles Moulton of Holwell 1725 Will and Inventory

In the name of God Amen I Charles Moulton of Holwell in the County of Leicester yeoman being of sound mind memory & understanding praised be God for the same Do make & Ordaine this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following That is to Say
First I Comitt my Soul into the hands of Almighty God & my body to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Extrix hereinafter named and as for my Worldly Estate I dispose thereof as followes
Impris I give devise & bequeath unto my Loving wife Mary Moulton All my lands tenements and hereditaments whatsoever with their appurts in Hickling in the County of Nottingham and else where in that County and in Abkettleby in the said County of Leicester for & during the Terme of her Naturall Life and after her decease
As to one Moyety of the lands in Nottinghamshire aforesaid I give devise & bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Moulton & unto the heirs of her body and for want of such issue I give the same to my daughter Anne Griffen and her daughter Mary to be Equally divided between them Share and Share alike
And as to the other Moyety of the land in Hickling I give devise & bequeath unto my daughter Anne Griffen & her said daughter Mary and their heirs to be equally divided between them Share and Share alike
Item as to my lands in Abkettleby aforesaid I give devise & bequeath the Same unto my said two daughters and their heirs
Item I give devise and bequeath unto my said Loving wife after payment of my debts & funerall Expenses All my goods Chattells Cattells Creditts & personall estate whatsoever and I do hereby make my said wife full & Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and do hereby revoke all former will and wills by me made
In Witness whereof I the said Charles Moulton the Testator to this my last will & testament put my hand & seale the Eleventh day of June in the eleventh year of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lord George by the Grace of God of Great Britaine &c Annoqs Dni 1725
