In the name of God Amen I John Musgrave of Scalford in the Countye of Leic shepheard sicke in Bodye but whole & perfect in mynde and memorye thancks bee to God doe here make and ordayne this my last will and Testamt in manner and forme followeing March the 9 and the first yeare of the Raigne of our Soveraigne Lord Charles by the grace of God kynge of Greate Britayne France and Ireland Defender of the faithe &c and in the yeare of our Lord God 1625
First I bequeathe my Soule to God Almightye that gave it mee, and my bodye to bee buryed in the Churche of Scalford aforesayde
Itm I gyve to the poore of Scalford fifty shillings whereof ten to Margarett Juddicarye
Itm I gyve xs toward making of hassocks for thee chancelle when the parishoners receave the sacrament
I doe make and ordayne Extors to this my laste Will and Testamt John Musson of Scalford aforesayed and Ambrose Coldson of Frabee boathe in the Countye of Leic yeomen
Itm after my decease I gyve all the reste of my goods moveable and unmoveable to John Musson and Ambrose Coldson aforesd myne Extors
