In the name of god amen In the xxvith of December ano doi 1585 I Prudence Musson of Scalforde in the countye of Leicester widdowe, sicke in bodye but wholle in minde and of good and perfecte memorye thankes be geven to god therefore do make and ordaine this my laste will and testamente in maner and forme followinge

Firste I bequeathe my soule to allmightye god, and my bodye to be buryed in the churche of Scalforde aforesaid

Itm I geve and bequeathe unto Willm Musson and Nycholas Musson my sonnes in lawe eyther of them iii sheepe

Itm I geve and bequeathe unto Margarete Musson my Daughter in lawe iii sheepe, and my second reede petyecoate and one towel

Itm I geve and bequeathe unto Jone Cunnant a newe flaxen raile and a flaxen aperne

Itm I geve and bequeathe unto my two daughters Agnes Musson and Alice Musson ii paire of sheets, ii coverleeds, ii Blankets, one matrice, ii bolsters & iii pillowes pillowes equally to be Devided amongeste them

Itm I geve and bequeathe unto Rychard Musson my sonne, Agnes Musson and Alice Musson my daughters all my goods which I nowe have in possession, and have to receave by vertue of one legacye bequeathe unto me by the last will and testament of Thomas Musson my husbande lately deceased equally to be devided amongeste them

Itm I do make and ordaine Nycholas Carnall & Jhon Carnall my executours and Nobel Bardsaye gent and Willm Bincks Supervisours unto this my laste will and testament

Thes being wittnesses unto this my laste will and testament
